Miss McCann’s accent was truly mesmerizing. Once in class I was just gazing at her, listening to the cadence of her words when she sharply reprimanded me to start taking notes. I wrote her after I left Northfield and she replied back with a kind and special letter. I have often wished I could have known our teachers from an adult point of view.
